The Dover School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and federal law. The District also prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, and any other category protected by law.

Inquiries about the application of Title IX and its implementing regulations may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, or both.
How to Report a Concern
Any student, parent/guardian, employee, or other individual may report information about conduct that may constitute sex discrimination, including sex-based harassment.
Reports may be made at any time, including outside of school hours, in person, by mail, by telephone, or by email to the Human Rights Officer / Title IX Coordinator.
Reports may also be made to a school principal or other administrator, who will ensure the information is shared with the Human Rights Officer / Title IX Coordinator.
The Dover School District prohibits retaliation against any individual for making a report or participating in an investigation.

Title IX Training
The Dover School District ensures that all individuals involved in the Title IX response process receive appropriate yearly training.
- The Title IX Coordinator is certified through ATIXA
- Investigators are trained through ATIXA
- Building administrators receive Title IX training through Drummond Woodsum
In accordance with Title IX regulations, training materials utilized by the District are available upon request.
